Duran® packaging is
constructed of single corrugated cardboard with a burst strength of
275 pounds and a standard packaging unit of twelve (12) pieces of
glass. Foam inserts isolate each piece of glass, transit tested
by the National Safe Transit Association, providing ample
shipping protection.
*The standard packaging unit accommodates 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 inch
diameter gage glass with length up to 72 inches.
Note: The Caledonia standard 6-pack packaging unit will be used
for Duran tubular gage glass when ordered in non-standard lengths, in
standard lengths silicon carbide cut, or in less than the standard
case quantities of 12 pieces.
Duran's® standard tubular gage glass packaging unit is 12 pieces
per case when ordered in standard factory stock lengths.
There is no charge for packaging in standard factory stock lengths.

6-Pack was designed to accommodate standard and non-standard lengths
ordered by distributors in less than the Duran® standard packaging
unit of 12 pieces per case. Duran® standard and non-standard
factory stock lengths or lengths cut to order or lengths ordered in
less than case quantities are packaged in the 6-Pack. The
packaging unit is constructed of single corrugated cardboard with
burst strength of 275 pounds with foam inserts and end-blocks
isolating each piece of glass and providing ample shipping protection.
